Let’s Talk About Shh… Living With Disease
One of the scariest things for people when talking about sexually transmitted infections is that people think that if they test positive for one we can’t cure, their life is over. Misinformation and stigma around STIs are still pretty rampant. It’s important that people are informed on this aspect of sexual health because life is not over if someone tests positive for HIV or has a herpes outbreak. In this episode, we tackle some common questions people have when they are living with one or both of these diseases.
We also cover some resources people can look at for support or guidance
- Business Responds to AIDS (BRTA)
- The STI Project
- Canadian AIDS Society
- Canadian Herpes Support Groups
- US Herpes Support Groups
