Sexually transmitted infections are a super scary topic for a lot of people. Traditional abstinence-based sex education programs have used all the unpleasant details about infections to scare and horrify people into not having sex. Not only has this been ineffective but it’s created the problem of excessive shame. People also fail to learn what they need to know about sexual health!

In this episode, we took a lighter approach to talking about STIs with some help from Giant Microbes. We discussed some of the most common STIs, what their symptoms are and what treatment options are available. We also put in some extra little interesting tidbits and fun facts.
